About

Yasmine Alzuhair creates paintings that inhabit a world between theatre and reverie, where familiar figures take on unexpected lives.

Animals become performers, characters exchange knowing glances, and elaborate costumes suggest stories left untold. Expressive brushwork, layered colour and delicate details give each subject a distinct personality, balancing playfulness with a quieter sense of mystery.

From dreamlike marine scenes to whimsical portraits, her work invites a closer look. There is humour, tenderness and something deliberately unresolved—a space for the viewer’s own imagination.
